How do you photograph weddings?
I approach weddings mostly on instinct. I don't work from a list of predetermined pictures. I react to the people & the mood of the day. While I do posed pictures when asked, that is certainly not my focus. I'm a documentary photographer at heart & aim to preserve all the laughter, drama & chaos that is so often a part of weddings. And because I view the day in an unscripted fashion, your wedding pictures will not look like anyone else's
Where are you based and do you travel?
I live in Brewer Maine ( right next to Bangor ) . I travel all over Maine & beyond for weddings. For travel within Maine there is no extra fee. For out of state travel & circumstances that require an overnight stay, lodging fees will be applied
When will we get our photos?
For weddings, you will receive an online gallery link with all your photos typically within 3 weeks. You'll be able to download all the photos from the gallery at that time. Along with that, you can also share them, choose your favorites and order prints! For other portrait sessions the turn around time is usually a few days.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of images made at any wedding can vary depending on several factors. The guests, the weather, the location, the schedule, etc. But at a typical 8 hour wedding you should expect to receive between 800 - 1200 finished images
